These kids made choir!!!  We are missing Keaton and Drew from the picture.

Please go over papers with your child at home. It is a great way to review, clarify and sharpen skills.

Last week, your child brought home information regarding Reflex math. The more your child uses Reflex Math, the more fluent they will become with their math facts. Being able to recall those math facts quickly will lead to greater success in all areas of math. Your child has access to this program at school and at home. Your child can access the Reflex Math program at home by doing the following:

• Go to www.reflexmath.com/go.
• Click “Launch” in the upper right-hand corner.
• Type in your Username.
• Select your name from the class list.
• Enter your password.

Just a reminder about spelling… Your child brings home a spelling list on Friday and another copy on Monday. There is also a list in the book you received at open house and another list on the classroom blog if you can’t find any of those!

Little Steppin' wolves pics!

Every month, Lake Hamilton Elementary focuses on a character word.  This month we are studying responsibility.  We will be working on being responsible not just at school, but at home as well.  Each Friday, I will choose one student who is doing their best to show that they are responsible.  They will be the "Leader of the Pack" and Mr. Catlett will announce their name to the whole school and also bring them a special pencil.  At the end of the month, we will have a special character pep rally with a speaker and fun activities.  We want to be kids with character!!!

Thank you to everyone who sent items off of the class wish list!  They are greatly appreciated!!

Here is a great handout on oral reading fluency!!

Our spelling test is on Thursday. Please study the words and dictation sentence with your child and we will study at school! Homework will go home on Monday and is due on Friday. Thank you for playing an active role in your child’s education!
