GO WOLVES!!!

Our character word for this month is responsibility.
We are working hard to make good choices and to be responsible for our own actions.
Congratulations to COLLEEN for being the first Leader of the Pack!!!!!

The kids are so excited to see their names on the wall for "starring" in PTO.  If you have not joined, please do!  It is a simple way to support our school!  Dues are only $4!

Skill Support:
Use loose change that you have at home and practice counting coins with your child.  Use any combination of quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies.  Take turns counting the coin combinations together.  Also, grab some scratch paper and have your child write down the correct way to show the amount of money counted - for ex.  36¢ or $0.36

~ Thank you to everyone who has joined PTO!! If you have not, please do! This money stays at the elementary and directly affects our school! Dues are $4.

~Thank you for sending in items for the class wish list!

SKILL SUPPORT:

Here are some simple things you can do to help your child!

*When riding in the car, practice your skip counting. For example, pick a number and count by 5s. Stop counting and have your child continue from that number (and so on). Do this with 2s, 5s, 10s, and 3s. Besides passing the time (and having your child try to “win this game” by counting higher than you), this will help your child become more proficient with skip counting, addition, greater than and less than.

*When riding in the car, read those many signs that you see along the road. Take turns and make this a game. Keep count of who can read the most words correctly the quickest.
